Thought of design comes from October 10 of each year, World MentalHealth Day, health concerns underst ings on mental health problems.
On the contrary that most people do not play much attention on mental health
problem, even ignore. Taking this problem into consideration, as a designer,
we should do something for mental health.Once worked on a space for mental illness, which concerned focused
on mental health. Thus, this scheme will keep researching on mental problems, take it as point of starting, putting the professional knowledge we learnt into
design by case designed to contribute a little bit power to mental health. Simple, natural warm are the topic of design for the whole psychological
treatment space. Mainly release space from traditional dark ward, shaping a warm
natural home but full of industrialized, modular installation development. 40’ high
container is the basic module of psychological treatment space. It is a combination of
modules to form the major functional areas, connecting corridors organically, form
an organic entirety with offering more possibilities of modular space combination.White, black green are the main colors used in whole space.
It is mainly based on white color to create a fresh shinning feeling
of space, adding connection of green corridors to bring in color of nature
to drive the room to be dynamic. Black lamps, windows doors are
the decorative color for whole space, to drive create a quiet
abstruse feeling. Meanwhile, emphasizing relationship between people space,
people among people man nature, a large area of windows, in which
great sun shine comes, you might enjoy out-door sun shine natural
scenery in each corner. Gradual change of every openings in functional areas,might give you different psychological feelings in different areas. |
